April 2026 — BrightCat Data has completed a product consolidation that unifies its Canadian property intelligence under five clearly named product lines: BrightCat Listings, BrightCat Sold, BrightCat Rentals, BrightCat Commercial, and BrightCat Core. The updated naming is consistent across Snowflake Marketplace, the MCP Connector, and flat-file delivery.
Each product name now describes what the dataset actually contains: residential listings, completed sales, rental inventory, commercial properties, and the unified Core product that connects them. The shift reflects a product line that has grown beyond a single analytical layer into distinct, separately licensable datasets.
Existing BrightCat clients are transitioning to the unified naming at contract renewal. The underlying data, schemas, and delivery mechanisms are unchanged. Master Data License Agreement terms carry forward; licensing, pricing, and delivery obligations are unaffected.
Prior Snowflake shares and MCP endpoints continue to resolve for existing clients during transition. Documentation references and Marketplace listings have been updated.
As the product line grew to include Rentals and Commercial as distinct datasets — not simply different analytical views of the same data — a unified naming structure made the catalogue easier to navigate for procurement, engineering, and data teams evaluating the platform.
The unified product structure brings Snowflake Marketplace delivery, the MCP Connector for AI-native access, and traditional flat-file delivery under a single product taxonomy. The same five product names describe the data regardless of which delivery path the consumer uses.
